"Can't a girl be reckless every once and a while?" she asked leading him into her bedroom and making him wait there while she checked through the door that went out into the hall. The room was... well it was the room of a girl with it's light hues and frills. The one thing that was interesting about it was the antique desk and the piles of books everywhere. In fact, the few shelves she did have looked like at any moment they'd break from under the weight. Pulling her head back in she gave a wave for Izzy to follow her.
"Coast is clear," she said guiding him out once more by the hand. She was definitely enjoying the little bit of contact. She was until there was a door creaking down the hall by the stair way. Without thinking Dylan pulled Izzy into a linen closet as the shadow walked past. There wasn't much room in the cramped space for one person let alone too. Dylan couldn't help but notice little details about Izzy Cairnes right there. Before any logical thinking could take effect, she found herself kissing him this time.

He was towed into her bedroom, a place Izzy Cairnes hadn’t been to since he was about eight years old. Just after the time of puppet shows and just before the seasons of kiss chase began. He looked around as she left him waiting there. Not much had changed really… the bedding was changed… there were books and no dolls. That was about it, really. He smiled to himself at some of the memories that sprung into his mind…. In particular ones where they had been playing with puppets… and Izzy had attacked the expensive dolls with a pair of socks called Nessie and OOg.
He came at her beckon, surprised slightly as she took his hand to pull him through the house. But it was nothing compared to his surprise at getting pushed into a linen closet…. And then getting kissed.
If he had been capable of rational thought, he would have wondered what the hell was going on with the girl who just wanted to be friends. As it was he just kissed her back, his hand reaching to cup the side of her face as their kissing got a little more frantic.

Know those moments in the movies where it is the very end, the girl gets the guy and it fades to the credits. The moment that is so perfect that the heroine has a moment where her foot pops up in the midst of the best kiss in the world? Dylan Colt was having one of those moments right now when Izzy kissed her back. In fact, he kissed her like he was stealing all of the air out of her lungs. However, it didn't help that one of the thoughts in Dylan's head was that she might be horrible at it. It wasn't as if she went around kissing boys often. This was probably her first real and true kiss that was more than just a simple peck.
Pulling her lips away from his, Dylan had almost a terrified look on her face. "My dad was coming and I didn't want you to get caught and then both of us get in trouble because then we couldn't hang out and I like you and..." Yes, Dylan was babbling because she couldn't think of what else to do. She had kissed Izzy in her linen closet after she made a speech about being friends. Obviously she didn't want to be just friends.
